Lithopone
Lithopone is a barium and zinc white pigment in powder form made up of Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) and Barium Sulfate ( BaSO4|).
The two more common types of lithopone powder are B301 and B311. The type B301 contains a minimum of 28|% ZnS which is also more commonly known as 28-30% type. The type B311 contains minimum of 30% ZnS which is also known as the 30% Lithopone. The remaining make of Lithopne pwder is Barium Sulfate (BaSO4).
Lithopone is an excellent universal white powder used in a wide range of industries as a filler and a whiting powder.
Some of the more common industries using lithopone powder are industries such as paints, building materials, coatings, papers, plastics and rubbers.
Ultramarine Blue
Ultramarine Blue is an inorganic pigment whose color has been classified as Pigment Blue 29, C.I. 77007 by the Color Index System. Chemically it is a sodium alumino-sulphosilicate. This pigment is the synthetic form of Lazurite.
Ultramarine Blue has a clean and bright reddish blue shade. This makes Ultramarine Blue different than any other blue pigment in the market and perhaps a very attractive pigment.
In addition to this very specific reddish blue shade, Ultramarine Blue is an excellent white corrector that neutralizes yellowish shades. Moreover, when using Ultramarine Blue for this application, metamerism (= change of color in function of the illuminant) does not occur. This whitening effect is widely appreciated in many fields of application such as detergents, plastics, paints etc.
Key Benefits and Attributes: Non-Toxic, it is a safe pigment both in processing and in final use, with excellent safety record after years in the market place.
Approved by the most demanding regulations (USA, Europe, Japan) for those uses in which safety is a must such as food packaging, toys, cosmetics etc.
Excellent heat resistance (up to 350ÂșC), light and weather resistance, Excellent dispersible, Very Low to no migrattion, Excellent performance-cost ratio, Excellent alkali resistance; acid-resistant types can be also used in acid media, Environmental-friendly.
Main fields of application:
Plastics & Rubbers, Paints & Coatings, Cements and Construction Materials, Soaps & Detergents, Toiletries and Cosmetics, Bathroom and Toilet Bowl Cleaners, Artists' Colors, Inks, Paper
Cellulose Adhesives
CelluSiv (Cellulose Ether Polymer Products)CelluSiv products are an extensive family of methylcellulose (MC) and hydroxypropyl and hydroxyethyl methylcellulose polymers that are used globally in many industrial, building, dry mixes, household and personal care products. They are primarily used as polymeric surfactants, thickeners in liquid formulations, and as binders in solid and semi-solid products.
CelluSiv products are nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether polymers which are prepared from cellulose (pulp), a widely distributed natural material. The cellulose is processed with caustic soda and then treated with an etherification reagent such as methyl chloride, propylene oxide or ethylene oxide, etc.
CelluSiv is classified into the following basic types, methyl cellulose (MC), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC), methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MHEC), and methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose (MHPC) according to the kind of etherification reagent used. Based on the applications area, these products can be surface treated for better dispersion and solvability for different usage conditions and parameters.
These products hold varying ratios of hydroxypropyl, hydroxyethyl and methyl substitution, a factor which influences organic solubility and the thermal gelation temperature of aqueous solutions. Among the types listed above, HEC is the hardest to dissolve in solution. However, HEC has the highest water retention factor and holds the highest binding power in the dry mix systems.
Some of the industries using CelluSiv are as follow:
Agricultural Chemicals as suspending and dispersing aids, Bio-Adhesives, Cement based Dry and Wet mixes and Cement Plasters, Ceramics Processing, Glazes and Porcelain Enamels, Controlled Release Systems, Gypsum based plasters and Tape-Joint compounds and Crack Fillers (Putty & Caulkings), Household cleaners and detergents, Paints (Emulsion Based) and Paint-Removers, Paper Industries, Pharmaceutical Products, PVC Suspension Polymerization, Textile Printing, Toilet Bowl Cleaners, Transparency Films
Application examples of CelluSiv use as adhesives :
Carpet back-sizing compounds, Cigar and Cigarette adhesives, Latex adhesives, Leather processing adhesives, Plywood laminating adhesives, Wall Papers applications
Petroleum Resin, Mineral Powders
Petroleum Resin is a byproduct of ethylene cracking plant of petrochemical plants.
Depending on starting materials of the processing plant and mixing of other components with certain proportions, petroleum resin with different properties is made by polymerization reaction process.
Due to the complex compounds mixture, different types of petroleum resin with varying purity, color and softening temperature point is produced. These varying factors dictate the suitability for final usage in different industrial areas.
The well known varieties of petroleum resin are known as following:
PR1 and PR2 are suitable for rubber industries due to their darker and deeper color varying in color index numbers from 10 to 18 and softening temperature point from 80 to 140 degrees centigrade.
C9 petroleum resin is a light to yellowish color product varying in color index numbers from 8 to 12 and softening temperature point from 90 to 120 degrees centigrade.
C5 petroleum resin is lighter in color than the C9 product varying in color index numbers from 5 to 9 and with softening temperature point from 90 t0 120 degrees centigrade.
Hydrogenated petroleum resin, is a colorless to very light color product varying in color index numbers from 1 to 7 with softening temperature point from 90 to 110 degrees centigrade. This product is also referred to as the C5-H petroleum resin.
Applications
Petroleum resin is used in a variety of industries such as :
Adhesives, Asphalt Additive, Hot Melt Adhesives and Pressure Sensitive Adhesives like Tapes, Inks for deep printing and waterproofing, Lacquers,
Latex, Oil Fields, Paints, Putties and Sealants, Paper, Road Marking Paints, Rubbers, Well Drilling
Our basic goal has been to consider consistent quality as a continuous prerequisite to our business expansion. This is the basic criteria to invest into and work directly with large and medium size factories internationally.
Our direct investments in production of basic inorganic chemicals has come a long a way through generations of hard work and technological updates to stay with the newest advances in the industry.
Being directly involved in the manufacturing process has always brought JP IMPEX closer to understanding our customers and their immediate concerns and needs. Basic quality and production control is of outmost importance in all our operations steps.
Product packaging and handling is also a major concern for all our product lines. This is where a customer piece of mind will lye for warehousing, shipments and direct production line considerations.
To further assure quality standards JP IMPEX always uses international inspection companies to supervise and oversee all product quality standards as well as packaging and other parameters to ensure customer satisfaction.
JP IMPEX International LLC believes that packaging is of outmost importance and considerations for both shipping and direct production line handling.
Standard packaging is taken into considerations for all our products. Different packaging criteria are used to choose the best fit material and form of packaging depending on the nature and usage of each product.
We discuss and welcome packaging basics and ideas with our customers all around the world depending on their needs and preferences. Different customers may need or prefer certain packaging materials based on their special end use criteria and environmental considerations.
Different types of bags made of variety of materials such as PE, lined or coated woven PP, lined and multi layered kraft paper bags and jumbo bags are available and used for different products.
Normal packaging weight for bags is 25 kg per bag and jumbo bags depending on the physical properties of different products are filled up to a net weight of 500 kg to 1000 kg each.
